Meet Jean-Pierre Zanotti<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Home base<\/strong>: Toulon, France<\/p>\n

Jean-Pierre Zanotti, known as JP Zanotti<\/a> in the forums, is a Toulon-based photographer who explores the remains of abandoned buildings across France and Italy. Working primarily with Fujifilm X-series cameras and ultra-wide lenses, he captures the light, objects and human traces left behind in these forgotten spaces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been doing this since my teenage years, so a long time now. I got into photography through astronomy, which I practiced with a club. The ever-present clouds of my native Lorraine home quickly pushed me toward something else: the decaying industrial sites that dotted the region. I later took a long exposure (pun intended) to raise my children, then picked this dusty road back up \u2013 digitally this time.\u201d<\/p>\n
