The kit was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dpreview.com\/news\/ricoh-wishes-happy-birthday-to-its-most-famous-model\/\">originally announced earlier this summer<\/a>, and will be shipping on October 21st (which is, from what I can tell, the actual anniversary of the original GR1\u2019s release).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"alignfull wp-block-gearpatrol-article-content has-global-padding is-layout-constrained wp-block-gearpatrol-article-content-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"ad-section--sidebar wp-block-gearpatrol-ad-slot\">\n\t<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-gearpatrol-article-content has-global-padding is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The company is only selling 6000 of the kits, so they\u2019re relatively exclusive. Here\u2019s what they\u2019ll include, <a href=\"https:\/\/go.skimresources.com\/?id=31959X1726082&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fus.ricoh-imaging.com%2Fricoh-imaging-releases-ricoh-gr-iv-30th-anniversary-edition-kit%2F&amp;sref=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dpreview.com%2Fnews%2Fricohs-limited-30th-anniversary-edition-gr-iv-is-coming-in-october%2F&amp;xcust=%5Bcontent_id%7C%5Brefdomain%7Cwww.dpreview.com%5Bcontent_product_id%7C%5Bproduct_retailer_id%7C\">according to the company\u2019s website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list--unordered\">\n<li>A GR IV with its shutter and rear buttons \u201cfinished in a special color inspired by the plated finish used on the first-generation GR1\u201d\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-block-list--unordered\">\n<li>The camera also has \u201cA special power-off graphic\u201d to commemorate the anniversary<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u201cA ring cap \u2018GN-3 (30th)\u2019 with a diamond-cut design inspired by the design of the GR1 lens area\u201d<\/li>\n<li>A leather finger strap engraved with \u201c30th Anniversary\u201d<\/li>\n<li>A steel-gray metal hot shoe cover with the 30th anniversary logo on the front, and \u201cRicoh GR\u201d on the back<\/li>\n<li>16 pins, 14 of which depict past GR models, one of which is the 30th anniversary logo, and the other a GR logo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The latter two pins are exclusive to those who purchase the kit. The rest will be sold individually as accessories, or as a bundle, along with the finger strap and hot shoe cover. (There\u2019s even a version of the latter being made for the GR III series, too.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cost for all that? $1800, a $200 premium over the standard GR IV.
