Capture One adds wired and wireless tethering to its iPad app

As it promised it would, Capture One has released an update for its iPad app that enables tethering support. Now, you can connect your camera to your iPad, either wired or wirelessly, and have your iamges immediately show up in Capture One for iPad.

When Capture One released its iPad app back in June, the company said it planned to have tethering support out in a future update. That update is here and allows you to connect your camera to your iPad over USB-C or via Wi-Fi if you want to go wireless for compatible cameras. In addition to immediately transferring images to your iPad, tethering also supports wireless shutter release and the ability to automatically apply adjustments to images taken while tethered.

Other features in the update include the ability to export Originals and TIFF files, an Auto Adjust feature for quick edits, a few UI changes and the ability to change the Fujifilm film simulation on Fujifilm Raw files within the Edit module.

If you already have Capture One for iPad, the update should be available within your App Store downloads. If not, you can download it in the Apple App Store.
